Recently, I got to attend a mentor session with a photographer I have followed for years and admired her work— Katherine McQueen. I finally decided I was serious about growing my photography business after having it as a side career for almost 2 years. Kat taught everything from how to make a website that stands out, posing your couple so that they are more comfortable, and how to shoot in harsh lighting.

Emily and Camilo were our models for the day in Brooklyn and I got to do a live photoshoot with them and Kat. It was so fun seeing her interact with them and getting to shoot at the same time. Emily and Camilo were the perfect couple for this and had the most fun energy the whole time.
