Baylee + Jake | NYC Proposal

Baylee and Jake are Seniors at the University of Georgia and have been dating for 7 whole years, but if you were to meet them it would seem like 7 months (they have that giddy, just met kind of love). I am so glad that Jake trusted me to take their proposal photos. It was so fun to be apart of this first big moment of their lives as an engaged couple!

“My roommate and I planned a trip to NYC for Christmas with our boyfriends after we finished our final exams. We had all been before because it’s my absolute favorite city! We made plans of things to do each day that we were there but little did I know she was secretly scheming with Jake to plan a proposal while we were there. We walked around in freezing rain for the first 3 days we were there and miraculously on our last full day, it was absolutely beautiful. I requested that we go to Central Park because it’s my favorite part of the city. My roommate wanted to eat in Columbus Circle before and for some reason, it took us 3 hours to do so. When we finally finished, I practically ran to the large rocks over Wollman rink to see my favorite city view. When we got there, Jake asked for my roommate to take a picture and after the “picture” he got down on one knee and proposed while a photographer stood by and my roommate actually was videoing! It was the most amazing and dreamy proposal, and as soon as we finished pictures, a huge snow squall covered the city and it felt like an insane snow globe! It was such an incredible addition to an already perfect day.”
